AquaBrowser

The Manhattan Public Library District and the Prairie Area Library System are upgrading to a new catalog!

Our new catalog uses a product called AquaBrowser. AquaBrowser is not just a way to find a specific book title, it is a search engine designed to allow you to explore the collections of the libraries. In order to prepare this product for patron use, Library Staff has been working diligently to integrate the data of our Library System's over 8 million holdings so that all of this information will be at the touch of a button.

If you have any comments about what you see in AquaBrowser, please feel free to direct them to questions@mpld.org.

Classic Catalog

This is the catalog that you have come to know over the years. The Classic Catalog will remain available throughout the time of transition to our new catalog.

You can still place holds, look up your account, and do searches as you have always done them.

AquaBrowser Catalog Beta!

The AquaBrowser Catalog is almost completed, and we are offering our patrons a sneak peak.

With AquaBrowser, you can still place your holds, look up your account information and do renewals, just like you can in Classic Catalog.

You also have at your fingertips a powerful search engine that will search for your keywords in catalog entries, in book summaries, in book reviews, and in table of contents. In addition, once AquaBrowser is widely available, the opportunity to automatically search our online databases will also be available, all from the catalog screen.
