This application may be used by FIRST TIME Manhattan-Elwood Public Library patrons only.
- Once you submit your online application form, we will evaluate your eligibility for a library card. We will respond within three business days. Please fill out all required information on the application form this moves the process along more efficiently.
- When your application is approved, our staff will e-mail your library barcode to you. Our electronic resources and eBook collection will then be available to you. Your pin number is the last four digits of your library card. If you prefer not to give your email, we will call to let you know that your card is ready, but you will not be able to use the barcode until you pick up your card at the library.
- You’ll need to come into the library within 60 days to pick up your actual library card. Let the Library staff know that you registered for the card on the Web. You must bring in a photo ID with your current address.
