Manhattan-Elwood Public Library patrons may request items not owned by a PrairieCat library through a service called Interlibrary Loan. This is for items that you cannot find in the Prairiecat Online Catalog. In order to request an item, please call or come in to the library.
Interlibrary loan material (items we have borrowed from distant or out-of-system libraries for you) cannot be renewed through the catalog. These items will not show up on your account. You must request a renewal of interlibrary loan items by calling 815-478-3987.
Any interlibrary loan not picked up is $1.00 per item. Overdue interlibrary loans are $1.00 per day.
